Mom's Job

Mom has a new job teaching 6th grade ELL math. That's English Language Learners, in case you didn't know. Here's the paper from one student. He's eleven and just new to the U.S. from Mexico. He speaks no English. Maybe he's never learned to write, either. What's with the backwards spelling here? Mom needs H-E-L-P !
